We do not accept commercial projects or external collaborations—Cogknockers exists solely as a space for personal cinematic endeavors. Our projects focus on distinctive narratives, unconventional storytelling techniques, and evocative imagery designed to push the boundaries of independent filmmaking.
Each project is self-funded and independently produced, allowing for complete artistic freedom without outside interference. The focus is on distinctive narratives and innovative techniques that challenge conventional forms of storytelling. Cogknockers does not engage in commercial work or external collaborations—every film is a direct expression of personal vision.
A learning lab for volunteers eager to experience filmmaking hands-on. These not-for-profit productions emphasize collaboration and shared ownership, with every contributor receiving credit. By embracing a spirit of exploration and community, the company fosters a unique space where storytelling becomes a collective creative act, unconstrained by market demands or traditional industry structures.

Key works as a software developer for the U.S. Department of Energy, specializing in digital solutions for the Nuclear Energy division. With decades of experience in web systems, he builds and maintains secure, high-performance platforms that support national energy initiatives.
Outside of his day job, Key is a passionate filmmaker, writer, and director. He writes daily, composes and produces music, and documents his creative journey through independent film projects that merge storytelling with technical precision.
Eric is currently living with an inoperable spinal cord tumor. Undeterred by health challenges, he has returned to college after nearly forty years to pursue a degree in Artificial Intelligence—fueling both his curiosity and creative vision for the future.
